lyrics

lose the buttons on your dress
and lay yourself cross my bed
hold me till the end

feel the warmness of your breast
your glass eyes as the harpoon fills your nest
want me till the end

pearls of rainfall crown your hair
and I’ll hide my face in the feathers of your wing
babe, your the woman of my dreams

pale the moonlight on your skin
your flowers blow through the wind
love me till the end

pearls of rainfall crown your hair
and I’ll hide my face in the feathers of your wing
babe, your the woman of my dreams
you’re the right one for me

about

The Soft Hills Los Angeles, California

LA-based project The Soft Hills create a visceral take on soft-psych indie rock, calling to mind the hypnotic melancholy of the Red House Painters as well as contemporaries like Grizzly Bear or Radiohead.

Songwriter Garrett Hobba started the project in Seattle in 2007. The band, which involves a rotating door of friends and musicians, has toured several times through the US and Europe.
